Bee-utiful Photographs

Shot these in Sapulpa, Oklahoma at a man's bee farm he has held in his own backyard. I ended up being about 2-3 feet away from the hives themselves surrounded by thousands of bees. It was intense and really fun... ended up only getting stung once! Hope you enjoy the fruits of my labor! lol

My Dad Is A Bad @$$

Shot these of my father for an open editorial portrait assignment. Well I had 2 prior ideas before this one. One of my boss at work but I wasn't able to shoot her inside the store, then I was going to shoot a bee keeper but the rain ruined that, so I shot this idea. Though very hilarious these photographs are spot on to my dad's personality. So very happy with the end result.

Pastor's Wife

This is Sabina Dreier the wife of my pastor and when it comes to taking a photo of her she gets really goofy and silly infront of the camera. With this shot though she was just simply throwing her hair back with her hands and I snapped a shot of it and came out with this. Her and I are both very happy with the end result.

No glass for me...

Attempted to get photos of the Okmulgee glass factory that was in the middle of nowhere. It was scary and I ventured there alone... to make matters worse is that I wasn't able to shoot inside the yard and so I only could get shots from the road. So this is what I got... Never go to creepy glass factories alone.

OneOK Stadium

Spent the evening at the new OneOK Stadium in Downtown Tulsa. It is pretty much the prettiest stadium I've ever seen and I am very happy that I was able to take pictures out there with people in my class. Hope you enjoy!

Tennis... I suck at it.

I now know that I am nowhere near becoming a professional tennis player today when I successfully hit numerous tennis balls into the street and across to other courts. I did get some good shots of other people playing though. I am very happy with the shots I got of the facial expressions :)

Lost Traveler

This is my editorial portrait taken for my photojournalism class. I was very happy to have this opportunity to shoot this young man for this assignment. His name is Jonathan Lessing and he hitch hiked all the way from Kirksville, Missouri and ended up at my home in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I am very happy with the outcome.

Hot Mama!

Took some portraits of my mommy outside for an ambient light portrait for class. Even though the scene doesn't show it it was actually raining outside. I am definitely happy with the result. Hope you enjoy!!

Jessi Makeover

Jessi (Right) was such a good model... she suprisingly cooperated more than I thought she would with the wig and having to sit in a uncomfortable position for 30 minutes. But overall I am pleased with the result of this photograph. My sister though (left) needs to be more animated... My goal is to break her of her shyness infront of the camera. Hope you enjoy!
